Bomb injures 3 policemen installing CCTV camera in Narathiwat

On Sunday evening, a bomb detonated while three policemen were installing a security camera in the Chanae region of this southeastern borders province.

At 1 p. p. m., authorities in Chanae were informed of the explosion in the Ban Ai Sue Reh town of tambon Chang Phueak.

The Narathiwat officers office has three police officers on their hands. According to sources, they were putting a CCTV cameras on a power pole.

A weapon was discovered hidden under a copper plate that had been fixed to the damaged energy shaft as the base of a camera. When the police installed the cameras on the shaft, it detonated.

Shrapnel struck Pol Cpl Pakapong Suwanchana’s left forearm and experience. While Pol Sen Sgt Maj Sathit Khamhaeng suffered a debris wound to the brain, Pol Cpl Teepakorn Chusing had a debris wound to the right of his foot.

After the detonation, the three police officers were awake.
