Army refutes says of monarchical misappropriation

The Royal Thai Army has denied claims that Deputy Prime Minister and Interior MinisterAnutin Charnvirakulis blacklisted by the Internal Security Operations Command (Isoc) for exploiting the monarchy for political gain.
Maj Gen Winthai Suvaree, a spokeswoman for the Army, dismissed the claim on Saturday as unsupported and debunked. He claimed that Anutin’s name appeared in a report from the domestic intelligence service not in a bad light but rather in a way that favored the king.
The assertion that Mr. Anutin is on a list for defrauding the king is untrue, according to Maj Gen Winthai.
In fact, according to his speech from August 2024 that he would not back any celebration or individual who would assist Section 112 of the Criminal Code, the document gives him a good lighting.
After a political stability committee meeting on Thursday revealed the existence of an Isoc report categorizing people reportedly benefiting from imperial references, the controversy erupted.

He claimed that” some persons leaked and distributed the report without proper perspective, which made the names and the Isoc itself seem unclear.”
Mr. Anutin, who likewise serves as Isoc’s deputy director, refuted the charges.
” I have never, even in my lifetime, used the king for personal or political get.” He continued,” I’ve always acted with the highest degree of loyalty,” adding that he intends to officially request the document’s contents be checked.

The problem has prompted more thorough investigation into Isoc’s domestic intelligence methods. On Thursday, House Committee on National Security seat Rangsiman Rome, a member of the People’s Party, expressed concern that politically charged information was being distributed among agencies without supervision.
He claimed that Isoc had verified the document’s authenticity and that there had never been any problems over its accuracy.
Isoc disputes that the material contains errors made by its staff, though. Mr. Rangsiman claimed that the repeated errors were deliberate deceptions intended for social slander.
He added that the existence of such documents required formal approval because they had been distributed among numerous organizations. Therefore, it should continue without delay if legal action is necessary.
” Those accountable must be held accountable,” said Mr. Rangsiman, “if Isoc really has no involvement in political defamation or section.”
The military spokesman acknowledged that the document was created by the intelligence division of the intelligence branch of the intelligence branch as part of the army’s public relations campaign to target journalists and influencers.
