Thailand plane crash kills six police officers

According to authorities, six police officers have died in Thailand as a result of their plane’s crash while it was conducting shot training.

The Cha-am district, a coastal resort district 130 kilometers ( 80 miles ) southwest of Bangkok, was the site of the small plane’s collision with the water on Friday at around 08:00 local time ( 01:00 GMT ).

Five of the soldiers died at the scene, according to a Facebook speech from Royal Thai Police, and a fifth died after in a hospital.

Officials are looking into the black box information record of the aircraft to determine the crash’s origin.

Local media reported that the plane crashed about 100 meters from the sea, and online footage showed people wading into the water to get to the collapse site.

According to police, three planes, one expert, and two mechanics perished.

The soldiers who bravely lost their lives are offered condolences by the Royal Thai Police, according to a speech added.

Preliminary investigations revealed the aircraft was heading toward houses, but its pilots managed to maneuver it toward the sea, avoiding any additional fatalities, according to police main Kitrat Phanphet, who also visited the scene along with other officials.

The plane wreckage was later discovered in deep waters, according to afterwards on Friday’s photos.
