Ang Mo Kio GRC will face the People’s Action Party ( PAP ) team, which is currently led by Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong, and the debutant Singapore United Party ( SUP).
Candidates from the parties had a successful nomination filing deadline of Wednesday ( Apr 23 ) at Deyi Secondary School.  ,
Mr. Lee, 73, addressed the crowd by saying,” This election is taking place at a tough time.”
He added that “our life, our jobs, our families, our future” are in danger of facing some issues that may affect “our life, our careers, our futures, and others.”  ,
Voting for the group you can trust, as Mr. Lee, who first took office in 1984, said,” We can work with you to stay Singapore healthy, move it forward, and secure a brighter future for all of us,” he said.
former MPs Darryl David, 54, Nadia Samdin, 35, former senior civil servant Jasmin Lau, 41, and past Aljunied member Victor Lye, 63, are among the PAP’s five-member line-up, which includes Mr. Lee.  ,
Singapore is about to enter a world where cherished customs will no longer apply, according to Ms. Lau.  ,
However, as a nation, we will continue to vote with the support of our emotions, minds, and votes because this is a state that merits fighting for and that is a country that needs to unite for.
A group may compete in the Ang Mo Kio GRC under the direction of SUP secretary-general Andy Zhu, 42. Ridhuan Chandran, 53, Noraini Yunus, 57, Nigel Ng, 39, and Vincent Ng, 52, the group’s chair, complete the granite.  ,
Mr. Zhu stated that his team will work with the ruling party to” create a more simply and equal Singapore.”
Party Treasurer William Lim, 43, is in charge of the PPP line-up. Samuel Lee, a 33-year-old retired civil servant, Thaddeus Thomas, a 43-year-old building expert, and Heng Zheng Dao, a 24 year-old horticulturist, will all be with him.
Mr. Thomas addressed the audience, saying,” This vote is not ( for ) what was done for you in the past, but what it is going to do for the future of our younger generation.”
