SINGAPORE: Six people were taken to hospital after a fire broke out at People’s Park Complex early on Monday morning ( Apr 21 ).
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the hearth at about 4. 35am.
“The fireplace involved cleaning supplies and equipment in a storage area on stage 6 ,” said SCDF, adding that the fire was extinguished with a water jet.
The six people were taken to Singapore General Hospital for dust inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under inspection.
