
Yio Chu Kang’s clinic will face off in the upcoming election, according to Yip Hon Weng of the Women’s Action Party.
Mr. Yip, 48, said at the PAP branch office of Teck Ghee on Saturday ( Apr 19 ) that” I have one clear purpose: to serve with humility, to listen with intent, and to act with art.”
” One of Singapore’s oldest lands, Yio Chu Kang is one of the strongest community spirit, and we will work together to strengthen that soul.”
He claimed to have submitted more than 500 political inquiries about the cost of living, the economy, education, older care, digital scams, fire safety, and other topics.
Mr. Yip’s clinic likewise became Singapore’s first fully dementia-friendly neighborhood, he claimed, both in terms of attitude and tradition.
He continued,” The job is not yet complete.” He claimed that construction on a new sports complex, community center, and revitalized city center is ongoing.

Yio Chu Kang was reconstituted as an SMC in 2020 after serving in Ang Mo Kio GRC elections for several years.
Mr. Yip was introduced as a potential opponent for the SMC in that general vote.
He won the election on Election Day, facing off against the Progress Singapore Party’s ( PSP) Ms. Kayla Low, a fellow newcomer, with 60.82 percent of the votes cast.
Mr. Yip served as the Silver Generation Office’s team leader before he entered politics. He is currently employed by Temasek as a producer.
In the upcoming election, Yio Chu Kang SMC does possess 25, 368 voters, and Kebun Baru SMC will be the new location of one of its electoral districts.
Dr. Michael Fang announced his candidacy with the People’s Alliance for Reform ( PAR ) declaring its intentions on Saturday.
Dr. Fang, who is a member of one of the three parties under PAR, is currently a lecturer at a private college. He is from Peoples Voice ( PV ). The Democratic Progressive Party and the Reform Party are the other two political parties.
Along with Leong Sze Hian, Mr. Lim Tean, and Mr. Nor Azlan Sulaiman, Dr. Fang and other Solar candidates contested in Jalan Besar GRC in 2020. With 65.36 percent of the vote cast, the PAP won.
The 14th General Election in Singapore will take place on May 3.
