277 foreign nationals who have been linked to call center scams were taken by the Democratic Karen Buddhist Army ( DKBA ) to a sports stadium in Myawaddy, Myanmar, on Friday for nationality verification before repatriation.

DKBA soldiers transported the detainees from the Tai Chang job 1 location close to Chong Kaeb community in Phop Phra city of Tak state to the venue in Karen State using four six-wheel trucks. &nbsp,

The inmates protested on April 13 and the fight between DKBA troops and foreigners as they attempted to enter Thailand via the Moei River.

According to Mae Sot media, Myanmar authorities will then confirm the detainees ‘ nationalities before deporting to their particular nations.
