When asked how the WP’s member selection process had been refined on Thursday, Mr. Singh responded that it was “certainly different from the past.”  ,
He mentioned earlier this year that the party had engaged” industrial parties” to assist with temperament testing and member screening.  ,
Past WP MP Raeesah Khan resigned from her position in December 2021 after admitting to lying in parliament. The group then declared that it would review the screening and candidate selection processes.
” But I also want to remark- any procedure will always be as good as it is, and it cannot handle all the conditions and any other issues that may not have been addressed by that process,” Mr. Singh told reporters.  ,
He added that WP would like to “represent a large chapel” of Singaporeans from all walks of life and that the group’s individuals “represent a large church” of people from all walks of life.
Mr. Singh, who was questioned on whether he thought WP is then able to attract prospects of a more “elite” calibre than it has before, said he had” never seen many” such instances.
He continued,” I may say their true strength is having the courage and the courage to move through that doorway, and I don’t believe this is something that is found in very good amounts in Singapore now.  ,
” But we hope to normalize it,” she said. We will continue to do this in order to entice more people to join the Workers ‘ Party.
Mr. Singh responded that he was not ruling something out when asked if all four of the former MPs, including himself and Ms. Sylvia Lim, Faisal Manap, Mr. Gerald Giam, may contest Aljunied GRC.
” But if there are any changes, they will be quite minor,” he said.
He noted that the decision People’s Action Party has been “very flirty” about its last line-ups, and that there haven’t been any events to that.
This wait to see what transpires in the coming days, and I’m going to guarantee you that Nomination Day will be a success.
