
For the future General Election, Mr. Tony Tan will face off against him in Kebun Baru SMC in Singapore, marking his first venture into electoral elections.
The party made the announcement to journalists at Bishan North Shopping Centre on Thursday ( Apr 17 ).
The 14th General Election in Singapore will take place on May 3.
During the group’s referral events in Kebun Baru on April 12, Mr. Tan, 55, and his wife, PSP vice-chairperson Hazel Poa, were seen together.
PSP announced its battle plans for Kebun Baru, Marymount and Pioneer SMCs, as well as West Coast-Jurong West and Chua Chu Kang GRCs the same day.
With these divisions, the group is anticipated to subject a total of 12 individuals.
PSP’s candidate for Kebun Baru SMC lost to Henry Kwek of the People’s Action Party ( PAP ) with 62.97 % of the vote in the 2020 General Election.  ,
Mr. Tan, an investor in the entertainment and education fields, recently ran a campaign in the Chua Chu Kang GRC under the National Solidarity Party ( NSP). He has been a voluntary with PSP since the 2020 General Election.
Mr. Tan previously claimed that his life had” changed” because he was raised as a single-parenter.
The high cost of living and financial confusion will continue to strain our nation, according to Mr. Tan. ” Some Singaporeans may experience abandoned,” he says. We as a nation can do more for them.”
