Nakhon Ratchasima: A campaign has been launched to encourage travel to this province’s three Unesco heritage sites in order to improve tourism and the economy as a whole.

The” Triple Heritage Ring Road” project was unveiled at the shopping mall’s Central Nakhon Ratchasima early this month.

The Sakaerat Biosphere Reserve, the Dong Phayayen-Khao Yai Forest Complex, and the Khorat Global Geopark are among the Unesco history locations within the Nakhon Ratchasima region.

The provincial hospitality and sports office’s officer, Chonbanlue Watthaphan, said the strategy is in line with the 20-year national strategy, which includes a strategy to create a creative economy to improve the country’s finances.

Native culture and tourism will be promoted in the plan’s proposals to build infrastructure that may promote sustainable tourism rise, he said.

With more trips to tourist destinations planned, transportation and system development projects are being worked on, according to deputy governor of Nakhon Ratchasima, Somkiat Wiriyakulnan. Nakhon Ratchasima, a gateway to the Northeast, is ready to offer as the government’s “reception room” where guests feel welcome.

The Northeastern branch of the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB ) is ready to support efforts to promote the Unesco heritage sites, according to Kasira Songmuang, a marketing representative for TCEB.

She stated that coaching sessions will be held to assist local business owners in upgrading their goods and services to meet the needs of customers who visit the province for business purposes.

A comprehensive itinerary may be planned so that tourists can explore the history sites while they are there, according to Chaiwat Wongbencharat, a member of the project committee. Nakhon Ratchasima may also host the International Horticultural Exposition in 2029.

Additionally, he said, procedures will be implemented to aid local firms in creating products and services that accurately reflect the history sites ‘ identities.

Thailand has been chosen to host the 2029 International Horticultural Expo, a four-month function that is anticipated to pull up to 4 million customers, generate about 19 billion ringgit, and lead to more than 36, 000 work.

At its March 3–7 gathering in Doha, Qatar, Thailand received the right to organize the fair from the International Association of Horticultural Producers next year.

The exhibition will have the style” Nature and Greenery: Envisioning the Green Future” from November 10, 2029 to February 28, 2030.
