The provincial government claims that no reports of deaths or injuries have been made in Krabi as a result of a vibration that left no reports of injuries or deaths, including the airport.
Checks after the earthquake, according to Krabi government Angkul Seelatheewakul, revealed no damage to any buildings in the state or the airport, which is in Nuea Khlong, the same area as the core.
The Weather Department located the 3. 5-magnitude earthquake at a level of two kilometers at tambon Khlong Khamao in Nuea Khlong on Monday at 2.27pm, according to the Meteorological Department. The Khlong Marui problem covers the state.
Social internet showed people fleeing houses and staying inside for safety, and the earthquake was felt at the airport and in the Muang area as well.
The Crisis Prevention and Mitigation Office in Krabi said the quake was also reported at Krabi International Airport, but there were no accounts of injury and the aircraft was still operating as usual.
The earthquake and its effects did not reach the size that a warning system may be activated, it continued.
