Singaporean households to get S0 CDC vouchers from May 13

Singaporean households will start receiving Community Development Council ( CDC ) vouchers worth S$ 500 ( US$ 380 ) starting May 13. &nbsp,

The tickets will be distributed equally among those purchased in earlier tranches: S$ 250 for purchases at participating homeland hawkers and S$ 250 for purchases at participating supermarkets.

Households may also receive an additional S$ 300 in CDC tickets in January 2026, totaling S$ 800 in tickets for this fiscal year.

This was made known by Prime Minister Lawrence Wong in his Budget 2025 statement in February as part of the Assurance Package’s additions.

Taiwanese homes also received S$ 300 in CDC tickets in January.

The CDC tickets can be used at participating hawkers, homeland merchants, and supermarkets to help households control cost of living challenges. &nbsp,

Senior Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth&nbsp, Low Yen Ling, noted in a Facebook post on Tuesday ( Apr 15 ) that over 1.28 million Singaporean households had submitted a claim for the January CDC vouchers.

” Close to S$ 300 million,” she said,” of which more than S$ 142 million has been spent at participating peddlers and homeland traders, and over S$ 157 million has been spent at participating stores.”

The government is anticipated to spend$ 1.06 billion on the CDC tickets program this fiscal year.
