EEF offers ‘flexible’ options to dropouts

To encourage students to stay in class, students will have access to flexible, custom-made learning options.

As people returned house to celebrate the new season with their loved ones, the Mobile School campaign was launched at the start of this Songkran event.

A caravan of celebrities is touring various communities in the provinces as part of the campaign, which will continue until the end of the month, according to Patanapong Sukmadan, assistant manager of Equitable Education Fund ( EEF ).

The celebrities are promoting various educational options for students who may not want to attend class for the following phrase, he said, including online and on-site learning. According to him, these options can be altered to best fit people’s wants and living and working conditions, while also encouraging family involvement is a must.

Some students leave school because they lack access to educational opportunities that might enable them to continue their studies, he said. He said the Mobile School plan is meant for all, even the employees.

There are now 982, 304 kids in the nation who are three to 18 years old, he said. While not all of them are in the formal educational system for any reason, poverty frequently prevents students from enrolling, he said. According to him, the understanding options on offer were intended to help kids complete their education.

Faculty have been assigned to provide as experts to those interested in taking part, he said, and students can either enroll online or in on-campus. The Office of the Basic Education Commission, regional operational organizations, and several public and private organizations are the partners in the EEF’s plan.
