Senator’s name ‘illegally used’ as collapsed State Audit Office project manager

A company hired to oversee the construction of the new State Audit Office ( SAO ) tower’s collapsed late last month claimed that an engineer who is also a senator had used his name as a project manager.

Somkiat Chusaengsuk, 66, reported on Monday that his name had been used in the SAO project’s modified style of floor beams without his knowledge over the past five decades.

Mr. Somkiat claimed that he had no connection to the office task.

However, he was aware of a PKW joint venture personnel who had previously contacted him.

PKW was the SAO creating project’s contractor when it collapsed on March 28 due to the earthquake in Myanmar.

Eventually, the encounter vanished and the senator claimed that the senator did not agree to any terms with the joint enterprise.

Mr. Somkiat claimed that his names were fake.
