A police officer courageously saved a lady who was attacked on Sunday by a swarm of bees at a well-known Buddhist temple in this northern state.

A swarm of bees stung a woman while she bending down in a popular video at Wat Phra That Phanom Woramahawihan in the That Phanom city.

Pol Sgt Maj Chaiyaporn Khanenin, 32, who was on a police car, witnessed the incident. The officer then ran to the person and removed his dress shirt.

When he reached the girl, he shook his top to ward off the flies. She waited until she slackly stepped away from the attack area for about 20 hours before he resumed doing it. The officer then transported her to That Phanom Hospital, where she had a lot of upsets removed from both her face and head, before driving her into his police car.

About eight sanctuary visitors were attacked by bees, according to Pol Sgt Maj Chaiyaporn, but the one he saved might have been their first goal.

The police claimed that he was only concerned with the safety of the woman and not with his own security. He was aware at that time that he was not the only one who may be focusing on the person.

As many people visited the church during the Songkran festival, he speculated that there might be some bees there and that joss sticks ‘ smoke may have irritated the flies.

The 53-meter-high, square-shaped Phra That Phanom temple, which houses Buddha relics, is a tourist destination thanks to Wat Phra That Phanom’s highly regarded square-shaped monastery.
