
Years have passed since Mediacorp produced a resounding period play like Emerald Hill. So last July, the , opportunity  visited one of its filming areas in Malacca. Sg , who had never previously visited a neighborhood play set, jumped on it, particularly this observant writer.
The 30-episode line, which is set in Singapore in the 1950s and 1970s, is a spinoff of the 2008 big hit , The Little Nyonya.
We spent two days at a magnificent palace on what is presumably Club Street during the play, which had been converted into a private cultural club.  ,
In many ways, it appeared as though we had thrown an special group.
When we were suddenly about to leave, we could almost hear the crew’s sighs of relief, due to the occasionally obnoxious sneers and persistent memories to keep our accents down during interviews.
Of course, it couldn’t have been simple for them either. They planned a long shooting plan while making sure we were shot every half hour.  ,  ,
No one has ever claimed that being on collection was a fun experience.
