Excavators dig deeper into collapsed Bangkok tower as fatalities rise

As of Monday morning, excavators were digging deeper into the rubble to find the 43 fatalities at the fell State Audit Office in Bangkok’s Chatuchak city as of Monday morning. 53 more were also missing.

On Monday night, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration released the numbers. There were still 103 patients at the field, and there were only nine hurt.

Chadchart Sittipunt, the government of Bangkok, reported on Monday night that firefighters discovered four bodies on Sunday nights.

One reportedly had a guy and a feminine gender, whereas the other two’s gender was unknown.

Additionally, at numerous areas under the dust of the fell 30-storey building, rescuers discovered human parts, including legs, bones, tresses, and body. The pieces and body were transported to Police General Hospital for identifying validation.

According to Mr. Chadchart, workers found more bodies after lowering the level of the dust from 26 meters to 20 meters.

He anticipated that more body would be recovered in the coming days. The State Audit Office building, which is still under development, may have had some construction workers working between the 24th and 29th flooring when it was struck by vibrations from the earthquake in Myanmar and collapsed, according to the Bangkok government.

He added that searchers may try to locate all of the body of the victims of the collapse and that he anticipated that the rubble’s treatment would be finished by the end of this month.
