” It’s been very, very hot really, meeting all people in Ang Mo Kio, yet as I do it slowly. There’s been a lot of generosity of time, energy and resources, and folks really want to help. But I look forward to a lot more of that”, she added.

Ms Lau was among the highest-ranked civil workers at MOH, where she oversaw labor, financing and regulatory actions in the medical system.

Her legal services job began in 2006 and spanned six messages, including an earlier stay at MOH from 2013 to 2019.

As a civil servant, she even worked at the Economic Development Board, the Public Service Division, the Ministry of Manpower and the Ministry of Finance.
