Police hunt Malaysian after Hat Yai gold shop robbed

A Malaysian person has been granted an arrest warrant for the military robbery of about 7 million baht of jewelry from a silver factory in Hat Yai on Tuesday. &nbsp,

Yee Boon Long, 61, has been arrested and given a prize of up to 100 000 ringgit in the Provincial Police Region 9 for his arrest.

Around 11.55 a.m. on Tuesday, a lone person robbed the Thai Udom 2 metal store on Montri Road in Hat Yai.

The exposed, armed robber entered the store, scared off the staff, and fled before fleeing with 138 baht worth of gold jewelry. He left the store with a bag full of the treasure and then cycled, which he afterwards abandoned 300 meters away, carrying the bag. &nbsp,

Lee is accused of robbing and carrying a tool in open without permission.
