
The Ministry of Health ( MOH) announced on Thursday ( Mar 27 ) that about 63, 000 public healthcare workers in Singapore will receive an increase in their salaries of up to 7 % in the coming year.
According to a media release from MOH, 37, 000 allied health professionals, pharmacists, administrative, secondary, and support staff will receive rises of up to 7 % of their regular base pay starting on July 1.
Additionally, 26 000 people healthcare nurses will see their base pay increases of up to 4 % each month. According to MOH, this “keeps rate with business trends.”
The Award for Nurses ‘ Grace, Excellence, and Loyalty system was introduced in September 2024, and these changes are in addition, according to MOH.
Health Minister Ong Ye Kung earlier this year made the give increases known.
MOH added that “healthcare workers will continue to receive yearly income intervals, which aim to keep salaries at the same level with prices.”
The government stated that with these income increases, which are over and above the annual steps, we will help the public care business to better attract and retain staff.
