
Local media reported on Thursday ( Mar 27 ) that Thai police are looking for a Singaporean man after his girlfriend was discovered dead in a room in Bangkok.
On Wednesday, two ladies told authorities at Thong Lor place that they had lost touch with friend Praopilat Paladon, 30. According to the Bangkok Post, they had never heard from her since Monday.
On Wednesday, officers discovered a tower at Sukhumvit Soi 39 in the Watthana district’s Sukhumvit Building, and discovered that the place was unlocked and the air conditioning was turned on.
Her body was discovered in the toilet. According to the nearby media outlet  Khaosod English, it was encased in a pillowcase and cover.
Both media outlets reported that the women had informed officers that Praopilat had a 32-year-old Singaporean sweetheart.
Before they left the building, the pair was in an elevator at around 6.45pm on Sunday, according to closed circuit television footage from the tower.
The Taiwanese man was seen returning her to the room at around 9:15pm the same night.
He was filmed returning into the floor shortly after midnight on Monday, going up the room. Around 3.15 p.m. on Tuesday, CCTV cameras caught him leaving the room with his belongings.
He entered a dark Mercedes car two hours later after leaving the building.
The vehicle was later discovered by the police to belonged to a dead Thai person in Bangkok.
