The NP Bankpakong, a liquid petroleum oil tanker, slammed onto the stones at Sangwan Beach, on Koh Lan in tambon Na Klua of Bang Lamung area, close to the larger Ta Waen shore. There are numerous biological coral reefs in the waters there.  ,
