The authorities stated in a declaration that there is no restriction on foreign ownership of the company, adding that the test period will continue until the conclusion of 2030.
Some analysts believe that allowing the US company to launch its online service is one of the steps the Southeast Asian business hub has taken to avoid paying US tariffs.
If SpaceX has applied for a license to build its services in Vietnam, it is not yet known.

According to the statement, the business is permitted to offer fixed and wireless solutions throughout Vietnam, including those that are offered on-demand.
