A former partner of a police lieutenant colonel is suing him for allegedly stealing 500, 000 ringgit from her.
The 38-year-old former flame, a hotel concierge in Samut Prakan, just requested legal counsel from Nathatpong Boonkerd, a lawyer in Samut Prakan.
The lady complained to a police station in Samut Prakan last time, but she claimed the case previously received a thorough investigation. According to reports, her ex-boyfriend works as a Samut Prakan police stop assistant director.
She claims that she first met the official in January of this year and eventually developed a loving relationship with him. She claimed that he had first appeared to be a good person, but that his behavior had changed by the late 2022.
The girl claimed that he frequently borrowed her cellular phone from her, saying he needed to play games, and that he’d frequently borrowed her money, promising to pay her back, but never did. He eventually became aware of his addiction to online gaming.
She claimed in 2023 that she had discovered his drug paraphernalia and had taken in secret images as proof. He reportedly started making crystal meth in her house as well. In December of that year, they ended their marriage.
She claimed that after their divorce, she found out that he had empty her bank accounts, transferred about 100 000 ringgit to his own, and used her credentials to obtain a 20, 000-baht lender loan. Additionally, her family’s purse disappeared. She reportedly lost him more than 500,000 baht overall.
The disciplinary committee only sent her a text claiming that his playing was done for “official reasons” and that he had taken her money to pay medical expenses after filing a complaint last month.
Transaction records, according to Mr. Nathatpong, show gambling-related payments, but the commission felt the evidence was inadequate.
The agent may undergo drug testing and be prohibited from carrying out his authorities duties, according to the attorney.
