According to Mr. Ong, 20 Sembawang imperial houses will also be repurposed.
He continued,” They are currently up for delicate by the Singapore Land Authority for short-term stays.”  ,
” Some of the houses can be used for retail, some for restaurants, and some for houses,” he said, adding that you can stay for a week or more.  ,
” So this is a place where you can spend some time.” You can take a quick trip to Sembawang close to the beach.
Mr. Ong also made an announcement at the event about his ideas to assist younger people in East Canberra.
He predicted that as soon as 2027, 1,000 more preschool spaces will be available.
He continued, noting that his proposal to build a new primary school in East Canberra has received support from the Ministry of Education ( MOE).  ,
” I hope in the not too distant, near future, we will receive good news from MOE that we will construct another new main school,” said Mr. Ong.  ,
By 2029, we will have another key school, according to the statement.
More amenities are being planned for people, such as a dog run area, in the second quarter of this year.
A second common libraries, besides the one in Sun Plaza, is anticipated to open in the middle of 2026.
Overall, Mr. Ong praised this place as “very unique.” This will be a Sembawang for anyone when all of these come up.
