GE2025: Multi-cornered fights ‘not in any of the opposition parties’ interests’, says RDU’s Ravi Philemon

According to Red Dot United ( RDU) secretary-general Ravi Philemon on Friday night, multiple-cornered fights are not in any of the opposition parties ‘ interests.

After the release of the Electoral Boundaries Review Committee ( EBRC ) report earlier in March, he responded to a question about the numerous opposition party members who have staked a claim on Jalan Kayu SMC. He added that there is “a lot of friendship and goodwill ” among many opposition party members.

When questioned about whether RDU plans to avoid a multi-cornered struggle in Jalan Kayu SMC, he responded,” A multi-cornered fight is not in anyone’s interest, particularly not in any of the opposition parties ‘ pursuits.”

We do understand the importance of criticism cohesion and we will do our part to make sure that happens for Red Dot United. ”

On Friday nights, about 20 RDU people and volunteers made a visit to Jalan Kayu SMC starting at 7 PM. at Seletar Mall at 45 p.m. They distributed flyers to people who were present outside the plaza, at Fernvale MRT place, and at Fernvale Community Club and its stalls center.

People’s Power Party and People’s Alliance for Reform both declared their candidacy for the upcoming ng mokio GRC’s Jalan Kayu SMC.

Labour leader Ng Chee Meng and senior minister Lee Hsien Loong were spotted at a community event in the fresh single-seat clinic next Sunday.

When asked on Sunday whether Mr. Ng would support the People’s Action Party ( PAP ) in Jalan Kayu or Ang Mo Kio, he replied,” You will find out, I assure you, in good time. What the prime minister decides, we’ll view. ”

When asked if RDU and Mr. Ng would like to square off in Jalan Kayu, Mr. Philemon responded that it was “a little premature ” because the PAP has not yet confirmed who they will field there.

We are prepared for whoever the PAP fields, independently. We’re prepared for the challenge, he continued,” I believe it will be Mr. Ng or someone else.”

Residents of Jalan Kayu have stated that they “need stronger checks and balances, ” according to Mr. Philemon.

A major social gathering like Red Dot United has come to sell the Single Member Constituency in Jalan Kayu, he continued.

Singapore requires a “well-being market” where its citizens, the earth, and gross domestic product are included. rise, are given equal priority, according to RDU secretary-general.

We want to share that Singaporeans have been treated as second-class people in their own homes for too much, or that there is a belief that they are.

Singaporeans should feel proud to be Singaporeans because they are members. That they are first-class members of their own country, which is our only home. And we want everyone who lives in Singapore to experience greater equality. ”
