After a photo of its nine-year-old head claiming to be a son of Lord Buddha reappears online, a former Democrat MP Tankhun Jitt-itsara is urging the authorities to take additional action against the so-called mind-connection religion.

On Monday, Mr. Tankhun, the Santi Pracha Dhamma Club chairman, gave evidence to the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD ) against the contentious spiritual group.

A picture of child followers hommage to a child during a new religious ceremony was one of the examples.

The Juvenile and Family Court, in the opinion of Mr. Tankhun, outlawed any broadcasts of videos or photos of the boy’s moral life on all media stations on August 28.

However, for broadcast have just resumed and may be in contravention of the jury order, he said.

Mr. Tankhun also requested that a well-known artist be questioned by the police after she publicly endorsed the child and the cult on March 7.

He claimed that the artist in question, who has held a number of similar positions, may face charges of supporting, supporting, or contributing to the criminal acts prohibited by Area 86 of the Criminal Code, as well as child abuse.

Mr. Tankhun claimed to have filed complaints with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security as well as the National Office of Buddhism ( NOB).

A Surat Thani judge ordered the teen’s parents to stop the child preaching and to take the child, who they claim has psychic abilities, to see a physician on August 28.
