Suchart to sue MPs over SKYY9 claims

Suchart: Claims hurt reputation
Suchart: Claims damage standing

Deputy Commerce Minister Suchart Chomklin vowed to sue two People’s Party ( PP ) MPs who linked him to the contentious purchase of a building in Bangkok by the Social Security Office ( SSO ).

Previous employment secretary Mr. Suchart claimed on Monday that PP MPs Sahassawat Kumkong and Rukchanok Srinork falsely reported the order of the SKYY9 Centre and had seriously harmed his reputation.

While Mr. Suchart was the party’s labor minister, according to Ms. Rukchanok, the seven-billion bass buy of the SKYY9 Centre was being pursued.

The building’s administration also claimed that the MP had suffered different errors and losses. The building’s gross income in last year was 40 million ringgit, which is even less than the management’s 50 million baht.

However, Mr. Sahassawat claimed that the workers minister at the time was discovered to be having assigned a near aide to a council with responsibility for opportunities, including the building’s order.

According to Mr. Suchart, he promised to report a libel lawsuit against them in accordance with the Computer Crime Act.

He criticized the MPs for making false accusations without providing adequate evidence, saying they could have debated it in a no-confidence debate or raised the issue.

According to him, the chancellor may engage in SSO investments because the building was evaluated by a business that is registered with the share exchange and has a conflict of interest.

The secretary disputed that the SSO had any knowledge of the SSO’s alleged purchase of another tower in the Ratchadaphisek neighborhood and that the inquiry should be sent to the SSO table.

” If the SSO investment isn’t appropriate, it should be looked into by the appropriate agencies. It was harm if someone conducts the investigation without having the necessary knowledge.

Mr. Suchart, who is currently with the United Thai Nation Party, said,” This petition will be settled in court and there will be no conversations.”

The tower had been abandoned during the 1997 Asian financial crisis, according to Ms. Rukchanok. The Social Security Fund ( SSF ) was making its regulations when a company then purchased and renovated the building, which may have resulted in the later purchase of parts of the fund.

According to Mr. Sahassawat, the tower was purchased through a confidence. This building’s purchase generated about 70 % of the faith.
