A European woman died on Sunday in a fire aboard a jumping ship off Koh Tao, according to reports. She was believed to have been encased inside the lavatory at the time the incident started. &nbsp,

Alexandra Clarke, 26, a European tourists, was killed in a blaze that started on the dive boat David Johne around 10am, according to Surat Thani police chief Pol Maj Gen Sermphan Sirikhong.

It was 22 people traveling from Koh Tao to the Southwest Pinnacle, a well-known dive site located nine kilometers away from the beach area, with diver instructors, scuba instructors, and vessel crew.

The American tourist was unknown for when the people were saved by being transferred to other ships, according to Pol Maj Gen Sermphan. Eventually, her body was discovered on the boat that had been engulfed in flames. He claimed that immediately before the fire started, she was seen using the restroom.

The incident started when a team member whose name was Tae, 48, was filling air tanks for fishermen ‘ use, he claimed.

The vessel was towed back to the island for forensic analysis to determine the person’s death and the fire, according to Pol Maj Gen Sermphan. &nbsp,
