62 Bangkok roads targeted for improvements

City Hall aims to improve” commuter-friendly, clean, and safe” routes by making them more” commuter-friendly, clean, and safe.”

This year, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration ( BMA ) had mapped out its plans to completely revamp 62 roads and pavements in all of the city’s districts.

According to BMA official Aekvarunyoo Amrapala, the job,” Great streets in 50 regions,” aims to provide capital residents with commuter-friendly, clean, healthy, and ordered roads and walkways.

According to Mr. Aekvarunyoo, the project’s supply aims to improve three elements of the streets and sidewalks, including the bodily aspect, such as resurfacing to prevent flooding brought on by heavy rain.

Walkways must adhere to the common style standard to make them as visible and comfortable for people of all ages and abilities. He argued that they must be appropriately lit and supported by effective traffic signals and CCTV.

The other two sections include improvements to the work and the culture of the streets and sidewalks, such as removing food stalls and bicycle taxis from walkways, as well as efforts to monitor if waste is released from buildings.

Additionally, Mr. Aekvarunyoo said there are plans to grow more trees, both on traffic islands and on sidewalks, and to establish a better trash collection system.

He claimed that the construction job covers 62 roads and hundreds of kilometers across all districts.

Bangkok will remain cleaner and more tolerable once it is finished, according to the director. He claimed that adding more green space will help to reduce waste and lower heat while also improving people’s health.

He claimed that wonderful roads will draw more capital walkers and encourage people to spend more time outdoors, which may benefit local economies and tourism.

The BMA thanks everyone for their assistance, not just by keeping the roads tidy but also by sharing photos of the beautiful streets and traffic islands [in several districts ],” he continued.

This demonstrates how Bangkok is improving with the help of everyone.
