Past beauty queen Panadda ‘ Boom’ Wongphudee️ ️ is getting serious about improving the employment of people in Thailand
Last year, some parts of Thailand were strongly flooded, especially in the north regions. Houses were submerged in water and dirt, leaving some citizens poor and hopeless.
One adult warrior was Panadda” Boom” Wongphudee️️, artist, reporter and Miss Thailand 2000. However, she is not just a lovely experience.
Panadda is behind the Goodness Foundation, a non-profit organisation operated with an aim to help people in difficult situations, such as those stricken by natural disasters, underprivileged patients, children in Thailand’s isolated areas and so forth.
Social press was swamped with photos of large storms last year. And several times, we saw Panadda– even pregnant– getting critical about helping people affected by the flood. She was in the flooded locations, flying back and forth from Bangkok to the regions.
Her base welcomed gifts of not just money but also other necessities such as undercooked corn, dried and canned food, animal food, sanitary napkins, drinking water, bottled or boxed juices and butter, child diapers, moisturizer, chilli powder, cooking sauces and different ingredients. These were distributed to flood-affected patients by the charity’s personal vehicles.

Even before the storm, the feminine charity was always passionate about helping the poor. She even established a ready-to-eat foods kiosk called” Khao Gaeng Ngang Nam”, translated as wheat and cake from the charm queen, selling any food at just 10 baht. Rice is served free of charge.
Such a food stall serves as an option for the weak or people with limited budgets to have a proper meals at a very low price. The store has a number of partners who furthermore share her reason.
Now that the storms have receded, Panadda’s compassion continues to flourish. Her base also helps impoverished individuals in whatever way it is.
One recent initiative provides free travel for poor people who want to be transferred to facilities in other regions or their communities. The foundation also provides transfers for the deceased free of charge.
