PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN- A man who had been awarded an excellent instructor award has been detained for sexually abusing at least eight students at his college between the ages of 8 and 10 years old.
Additionally, authorities discovered nearly 20 000 files of vulgar media, including that of boys and girls, as well as baby pornography created by the teachers.
According to Pol Lt. Gen Trairong Phiewphan, head of the Cybercrime Investigation Bureau (CCIB ), police began looking into the case after receiving information from Thailand Internet Crimes Against Children ( TICAC ).
The group had been informed by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC ) in the United States that they had found images of a boy who had been sexually abused and had uploaded them to the cloud of a well-known platform using a Thai IP address.
The suspect was a professor at a university in the southwestern province, according to police investigators who worked with Ticac. Armed with a search warrant, authorities raided a home on March 5 with members of Ticac, Destiny Rescue International, Our Rescue Foundation, and Prachuap Khiri Khan Children’s Shelter.
Officers seize Kritsana, an English professor, and his mobile phone, as well as a 2TB external hard drive, at the age of 32. Nearly 20, 000 vulgar media files of kids of both sexes were included in the phone’s data, along with some child pornography created by Mr. Kritsana.
The officers immediately managed to identify eight of the child victims. Additionally, they discovered information that Mr. Kritsana had formerly received a prize honoring teachers who delivered visible results at the district level.
” This is a big problem because the perpetrator has a position and status that require him to ensure the health of children, but he has biologically abused adolescents,” said Pol Lt Gen Trairong.
Initial, the policeman accused him of possessing child pornography for physical gain for either he or others.
Now they are questioning people in connection with the case in order to bring charges of murder, infidelity, and behavior that seeks to advantage children, especially when the perpetrator has strength over the baby.
Authorities are also searching for possible victims and perpetrators.
The suspect reportedly admitted to the allegations and claimed that he had been committing the acts for more than seven years since becoming an English professor.
He claimed that he once abused children in the classroom and the library, where he would get pictures and videos of his crimes.
He also instructed kids to meet him personally after class, forbid them from telling anyone, and gave them large sums of money ranging from 40 to 100 baht. He claimed that nowhere did he ever release the photos he took.
The eight patients, according to Sudatip Duangtip of Destiny Rescue International, were intermediate students between 8 and 10 years old. She claimed that most of the kids were terrified to talk and trembling when they were interviewed.
They fear because the instructor has been abusing them for a long time. She claimed that the incidents occurred at school, and that all of the kids concur.
