
A Job warrior jet’s landing pad has been made on a street in Songkhla state for the first time in a practice drill for disaster situations.
While the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF ) simulated an attack on its air base, a section of Road 4287 in the Hat Yai district was closed on Thursday, making it necessary to have a road base.  ,
According to the RTAF, the pilots safely landed the twin-set flight to recharge and set up the plane with missiles before taking off during the one-hour training.
The air pressure chose Road 4287 from seven options for this traditional function, making it the first moment a road has been used as a foundation for fight aircraft.
The Thai military’s major combat base is Wing 7 in Surat Thani province, and Gripen jets have that function as their main combat base.
