Rail system works on Johor Bahru-Singapore RTS Link 50% complete

The transportation company reported in an update on Wednesday ( Feb 26 ) that the rail system work on the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS ) Link project is about 50 % complete.

These works include record setup, signal, and power source. The Wadi Hana Depot in Johor Bahru assembly, which began in September last year, is scheduled to be finished and arrive in Woodlands North place in July. &nbsp,

On Wednesday, project director Zahrin Abdul Gani of RTS Operations (RTSO ) gave the updates. &nbsp, RTSO is a cooperative venture firm formed by travel operators Prasarana Malaysia and Singapore’s SMRT Corporation. &nbsp,

The RTS Link, which will extend 4km from Singapore’s Woodlands North train to Johor’s Bukit Chagar stop, is expected to begin company by the end of 2026. &nbsp,
