Entry rule backing in doubt

Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul stated yesterday that the cabinet is unlikely to approve the latest entry requirement for Thai gamblers that has been proposed by the Council of State ( CoS ).

He was referring to a proposed need that Thais must hold at least 50 million baht in resolved loan accounts for at least six months before being permitted to enter a casino-entertainment advanced.

” It is difficult for the plan to get the commission’s approval”, said Mr Anutin, who likewise serves as a deputy prime minister.

The Bhumjaithai Party’s head, Mr. Anutin, stated that the organization is a coalition of government members and that it will help any government policy as long as it doesn’t harm society.

He stated that a cabinet meeting will be held on the proposed access condition once more.
