After a fire broke out there on Wednesday morning ( Feb 19 ), the public has been instructed to avoid the area of a warehouse in Kranji.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) announced in a Twitter post at noon that it had been informed of the fire at 11 Kranji Crescent at around 10.30 am.
” Upon SCDF’s appearance, the hearth was also alight and engaged waste materials in a warehouse measuring about 50m by 50m”, it said.
” Paramedics are currently using an autonomous fire equipment and six water jets to fight the fire,” the statement reads.
In a previous article, SCDF noted that there were no reported injury at that time.
According to SCDF, SGSecure mobile apps people M1, Star Hub, and SingTel wireless subscribers in the area of the fire may have received a message urging the general public to avoid the area.
The SCDF even advised the people to consider taking other routes as the area’s traffic is increasing.
