Design Pompipi was organised as part of Mediacorp’s activities to mark Singapore’s 60th year of independence , – members of the public were , invited to design a vivid sharing what Singapore or SG60 meant to them.  ,
Following the launch on December 4th, more than 2, 000 entries were received for both the principal and children groups. After receiving more than 18, 000 seats, 20 models from each group were shortlisted for show on the Design Pompipi site.
After it was discovered that some models had been stolen from Singapore-based actor Lee Xin Yi and the lifestyle brand Supermama, several of them were disqualified in first January.
A panel of judges selected the selected entries for the last round of judging based on the narrative that the designs conveyed, the creativity and originality, the artistic texture and design, and the magistrates ‘ overall opinion of the design. The winning models were those with the highest overall results.  ,
The finalists may get to see their layouts reproduced on SG60 product from , participating partners such as Daikin, Shopee, Caltex, Audi, Holistic Way, Ocean Heath, Biofinest, New Moon and Ebene. In the weeks leading up to SG60 National Day Celebrations, the product will be made available to the public.
