Following a raid on a leisure pool mansion, which they claim served as the headquarters for an illegal online income financing firm, immigration police in CHON BURI have completely blacklisted 12 Chinese nationals.

On Friday night, regional police and soldiers from the Chon Buri Immigration Office raided the mansion in the Bang Lamung district’s Nong Pla Lai area. They claimed that the defendants had relocated to Thailand after having been based in Dubai.

The 12 suspects were charged with failing to inform Emigration of their country of residence and working without authorization. Two of them were charged with overstaying their visa in addition. At the Bang Lamung police depot, all were handed over to soldiers.

The acting head of the Immigration Division 3 Pol Maj Gen Chairit Anurit announced on Saturday that he had instructed the Chon Buri Immigration Office’s chief to rescind the suspects ‘ visas and completely withdraw them.

According to Pol Maj Gen Chairit, the procedures are in line with the government’s plan of cracking down on Chinese citizens who work in dark enterprises both in Thailand and neighboring countries.
