The” Seal Stop Safe” anti-drug activity has led to the detention of over a few suspects and the arrest of thousands of crystal meth and methamphetamine medications, according to the Defense Ministry.
Phumtham Wechayachai, the deputy prime minister, and defence secretary, led a press conference on Friday to discuss the state of the continuous nationwide procedure.
The Narcotics Suppression Bureau ( NSB ) detained one million meth pills and 1.6 million baht worth of assets from a suspect who is a member of an ethnic minority in the north, in addition to two other people from nearby tribes in Tak’s Phop Phra district who were detained.
Two suspects were apprehended in the Northeast while bringing four million cocaine medications from Nakhon Phanom to Sakon Nakhon, along with seized property value 660, 000 baht.
Additionally, the procedure has succeeded in preventing drug trafficking routes that lead north. In Chumphon, officials detained two persons transporting 900, 000 cocaine medications. Additionally, five suspects were detained while attempting to bring 234 kilograms of diamond cocaine into southwestern Europe. The overall number of meth tablets seized as part of the procedure increased to 37 million, with the confiscated crystal meth totaling over 400kg, in addition to the numerous other cases where medication were seized along the border in the North and Northeast.
