According to the Defense Ministry, the” Seal Stop Safe” anti-drug activity has led to the arrest of more than a hundred suspects and the arrest of thousands of crystal meth and methamphetamine pills.
Phumtham Wechayachai, the deputy prime minister, and Phumtham Wechayachai, the defence minister, held a press conference on Friday to discuss the state of the global operation.
In the north, the Narcotics Suppression Bureau ( NSB ) detained 15.6 million methamphetamine pills from a suspect who is a member of an ethnic minority, and two other tribe members from Tak’s Phop Phra district were detained, along with 12 million meth pills and 1.6 million baht worth of assets seized from them.
Two suspects were apprehended while bringing four million cocaine tablets from Nakhon Phanom to Sakon Nakhon, along with seized assets worth about 660, 000 baht, in the Northeast.
Additionally, the procedure succeeded in preventing southbound medicine trafficking. In Chumphon, officials detained two persons transporting 900, 000 cocaine medications. Additionally, five suspects were detained while attempting to bring 234 kilograms of diamond cocaine into southwestern Europe. There have also been a number of other instances where medications have been seized along the boundary in the North and Northeast, bringing the total number of meth tablets seized under the procedure to 37 million, with crystal meth being confiscated at over 400kg.
