COE premiums close mostly lower, with Category A prices dipping to S$85,000

SINGAPORE: Certificate of Entitlement ( COE ) premiums fell in the latest&nbsp, bidding exercise on Wednesday ( Feb 5 ), except for prices in the motorcycle category.

The second sweet under an expanded limit for the February to April quarter came close on Wednesday.

For small cars in Category A, &nbsp, premiums closed at S$ 85, 000 ( US$ 62, 975 ), the lowest since March 2024. It fell by around S$ 8, 600 from S$ 93, 601 in the last workout.

Prices for larger and more powerful vehicles in Category B fell from&nbsp, S$ 116, 625 to&nbsp, S$ 111, 104.

COEs for corporate cars, which include items cars and trucks, fell&nbsp, from S$ 65, 476 to&nbsp, S$ 62, 506.

Open class Submissions, which are generally used for big vehicles although they can&nbsp, be used for any car form, fell&nbsp, from S$ 115, 112 to&nbsp, S$ 110, 000.

Motorcycle rates closed at S$ 8, 289, away from S$ 7, 709 in the last workout.

A full of 3, 934 proposals were received, with a limit of 2, 869 COEs accessible.
