Kamnan implicated in large-scale village fraud case

An award-winning sub-district chief was among the 140 people who were defrauded of 41 million baht, according to officials from Nakhon Thai Police Station in Phitsanulok territory.

The detention, led by Pol Col Somboon Sidaeng, took place on Tuesday and involved 30-40 soldiers.

Armed with 10 arrest permits, they targeted offenders implicated in a case of public scam, which originated from problems by 140 people.

They claimed that the Na Kai Khia community bank in tambon Na Bua in the city of Nakhon Thai was the source of 41 million baht in dishonest actions.

To carry out the Nakhon Thai District Court’s Monday permits, the procedure divided officials into four teams.

In Na Kai Khia village, they targeted several sites.

Bunlam Maengna, who is the village’s chair, was the main believe, who received an award for her outstanding performance as a sub-district kamnan. She was arrested with her father, who is a member of the firm’s table, at her house in tambon Na Bua.

During the arrest, Ms Bunlam immediately appeared shocked but complied calmly, embracing her family in tears. She defended the officers ‘ efforts, saying that the Nakhon Thai Police Station superintendent was” just doing his job.”

After that, she and her partner were taken to the place for additional interrogation.

The board of directors of the fund is one of the remaining suspects, who are all facing charges of common scams and illegal loan solicitation with promises that the returns would be higher than the lawful interest rates. At the Nakhon Thai Police Station, one of them self-tied themselves.
