At least 15 people died in a stampede on Wednesday ( Jan 29 ) at the largest religious gathering in India, according to a doctor who attended the Maha Kumbh festival. Many more were hurt.
” At least 15 people have died for today. The physician in Prayagraj City, who was speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media, said that others were receiving treatment.
