Air Busan Airbus plane catches fire at South Korea’s Busan airport, no casualties

SEOUL: An Air&nbsp, Busan&nbsp, plane caught fire at Gimhae International Airport in&nbsp, Busan&nbsp, in South Korea on Tuesday ( Jan 28 ), and all 169 passengers and seven crew members evacuated without casualties, Yonhap news agency reported, citing authorities.

One man with a slight wound was taken to hospital, fire officials in&nbsp, Busan&nbsp, said.

Around 10:30 p.m. local period, the Air Busan aircraft traveling to Hong Kong caught fire, according to the news agency.

The blaze began in the aircraft’s neck, Yonhap added.

When contacted by AFP, Busan’s fireplace government could not be reached for comment.

This comes one month after the most recent heat accident on North Korean earth, when a Jeju Air aircraft from Bangkok crashed onto the runway of Muan Airport and made an emergency stomach landing, killing all but two of the 181 passengers and crew members.
