During a police commotion in the Sai Noi city of Nonthaburi on Tuesday, a drug courier who was attempting to flee was shot, hurt, and 800,000 methamphetamine pills were seized.
Around 3 a.m., officers led by Metropolitan Police Division 9 key Pol Maj Gen Khomsit Rangsai concealed themselves along the side of a street tambon Khunsri in Sai Noi area.
They were responding to a hint that a sizable amount of drugs was being brought along the way.
They waited in hiding until the suspect aircraft, which had Bangkok sheets, was spotted approaching them. Finally they came out and asked the driver to stop and conduct a research. The car was eventually stopped and the vehicle, identified only as Kritsana, 35, of Songkhla, was caught. He was taken to Sai Noi Hospital with a bullet wound to his left foot. In the remaining back screen, there were two bullet holes in the car.
A research found four black plastic bags in the car, each containing 200, 000 cocaine medications.
Mr. Kritsana was first accused of resisting arrest, cocaine possession with intent to sell, and attempted to kill police officers while on their feet.
According to authorities, the believe was hired to deliver the medication. The research was being expanded.
