Men arrested with 4m speed pills destined for deep South

KHON KAEN: Police detained two men and seized about 4 million rate tablets that were scheduled to be delivered by another trafficking party to Thailand’s strong north.

Pol Col Pratyamat Chaisura, commander of Ban Phai police depot, identified the arrested gentlemen as Wanchai Hempho, 41, and Likhit Khamlueam, 34.

Both men, who are both Phetchabun natives from Muang area, arrived on Sunday morning near Banlarnwittayakom School in tambon Hin Tang in Ban Phai region, at around 1am, according to the station manager. They were operating a dark Toyota Wish vehicle that matched a tip from a drug dealer that recruited drugs in a dark vehicle.

” We discovered 10 huge, black plastic bags that were covered in open tape. According to Pol Col Pratyamat, the sacks contained colored luggage totaling about 4 million meth supplements.

He quoted the offenders as saying that they had picked up the medicines in Nakhon Phanom state and were going to hand them to a different group of traffickers, who would then move them from Khon Kaen to Yala state.
