After a fire broke out in a Housing and Development Board ( HDB) apartment in Punggol on Sunday ( January 26 ), one person was taken to the hospital and 60 others were evacuated.
Around 5.05 am, firefighters were called to Block 224A Sumang Lane in response to fire information. A product on the eighth floor was producing black smoke.
The flames, which involved a home, was extinguished by the rescuers, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said in a Twitter article.
One patient received a dust inhalation evaluation from a nurse, and they were transported to Singapore General Hospital.
