Former TV personality charged with sexually assaulting minor

A former television host was charged with sexual assault of a minor on numerous occasions in June 2024 on Friday ( Jan 24 ).

The court has issued giggle orders protecting the names of the accused and alleged victim in each case.

The person faces a total of eight expenses: Six matters of sexual insertion of a child under 16, one count of obstructing righteousness, and one count of stalking.

On five times in June 2024, he is accused of having sex with a slight. He apparently did this at his house, a resort and a doctor.

Each physical assault cost involved a 15-year-old alleged victim.

Charge plates do not specify whether the alleged victim is consistent across all six accusations.

The person is accused of obstructing justice by ordering people to cry in front of her family in August 2024.

He reportedly told this person to tell her mother that she did not want to click charges against him and that she should tell her mother.

He is accused of harassing one by calling her 18 days in a single day in September 2024.

He reportedly logged into her electronic area using a karaoke app for two days after receiving a WhatsApp message from her.

The man did not specify whether he would be pleading guilty or claiming test after being charged in district court.

On February 20, he may be heard once more in front of a judge after which he was given enough time to find a solicitor. He remains out on bail of S$ 20, 000 ( US$ 15, 000 ).

If found guilty of sexual penetration of a minor, the person can become jailed for up to 10 years, fined or both.

A sentence in prison that can last up to seven years, a good, or both, is applicable to obstructing justice.

Up to a time in prison, a fine of up to S$ 5, 000, or both for the abuse crime.
