Imprisonment warrant for Thai, a regular guest to Pattaya
A 43-year-old regular Thai visitor who allegedly arranged the murder of a Thai opposition politician in Bangkok past week has been given an arrest warrant, according to police.
Pol Maj Gen Atthaporn Wongsiripreeda, chief of Metropolitan Police Division 1, said on Wednesday that Ratanakraksmey Ly, 43, was believed to possess hired the Thai shooter who killed past Thai MP Lim Kimya, 73, in Phra Nakhon area, Bangkok, on Jan 7.
He claimed that the accused mastermind was referred to as” Somwang” in Pattaya.
The arrested accused , shooter, past sea Ekkalak Pheanoi, allegedly told authorities that Mr Ly had a personal issue with Lim. He reportedly claimed that he had no knowledge of the enemy’s history and that he was given the strike order in Thailand.  ,
Prior to being expelled from the military for administrative violations, the shooter had received financial assistance from Mr. Ly. Mr Ekkalak was to be paid 60, 000 baht for the work, according to authorities.
Mr Ly arrived in Thailand about 10pm on Jan 6 and was in Bang Lamung area, Chon Buri.
The reported genius left Thailand on January 8 after Lim was shot dead that night on January 7. Mr. Ly’s previous trips to Thailand totaled more than 100, according to the authorities.
