O-Level 2024 results: 87.7% score at least 5 passes, higher than previous year

SINGAPORE: About 87.7 per cent of students scored at least five runs at the 2024 GCE O-Level investigations, somewhat above the previous year’s level of 86.8 per share.

Of the 22, 661 candidates who sat for the examinations last year, 19, 884 had five or more O-Level passes, according to results released by the Ministry of Education ( MOE ) and Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board ( SEAB) on Friday ( Jan 10 ).

On Friday, individuals collected their results from their extra schools.

The proportion of students who passed at least three topics increased somewhat to 97.3 percent from 96.7 percent in 2023, while the proportion of students who passed at least one issue remained unchanged.

JOINT ADMISSIONS EXERCISE

Students can apply through the Joint Admissions Exercise ( JAE ) to junior colleges, Millennia Institute, polytechnics, and the Institute of Technical Education ( ITE ).

For individuals to post their course options, the JAE application period runs from 4pm on Friday through 4pm on January 15.

Candidates for private schools and private schools may have received their applications via registered email addresses by Friday at 3 p.m.

During the application period, applicants who are eligible for JAE may also use their Singpass to save a version of the kind from the JAE-Internet System.
